After 10+ years in the fitness industry I found myself frustrated with the messages that were being thrown at women surrounding nutrition and body image. I myself have struggled greatly with both. I’ve done every fad diet from Keto to Weight Watchers to Intermittent Fasting and even Advocare. I‘ve done every workout style…. I’ve been a cardio junkie and an ego lifter gym rat.
I’ve had my share of injuries. I’ve had my body fat so low that I stopped having periods and I wore it like a badge of honor just because that came with a six pack. What it also came with was body dysmorphia, severe eating disorders and years of difficult healing.
Which brings me to why I founded Trilogy Fitness.
Trilogy Fitness is a women’s only strength and mobility gym. It focuses on educating and empowering women; physically, nutritionally, and emotionally. My goal is to create a space that breaks down the disordered thinking and information that’s been pushed upon us as women. We deserve accurate, responsible information. We deserve a space to get strong and be told we are allowed to EAT! We also deserve a space to speak freely as women about women things!
At Trilogy Fitness I educate on balancing nutrition, rest, recovery and movement. No more pushing ourselves to complete and utter breakdowns. Join me and my movement to help women push past others telling us who and what we are supposed to be. Because I’ll tell you one thing, it sure as hell isn’t SMALL and WEAK!
